JA USA has recognized JA of NJ’s Board of Directors and staff with the 2011 Peak Performance Team Award. Excellence, productivity and teamwork pay off in more students helped by Junior Achievement’s economic education programs.
Junior Achievement equips students with skills that are critical to their successful participation in
the workforce and post secondary education. Specifically, students in JA improve their 21st-century skills.
The dropout crisis in America’s educational system has a devastating impact on the future health of the economy. Nearly every year, only 70 percent of students complete high school on time and earn a diploma.
JA Finance Park® is a hands-on program which includes in-school, teacher-led activities culminating in an “off-site” visit to Capital One/JA Finance Park™, where volunteers mentor students as they make real life financial decisions.
