Imagine a day spent as a volunteer role model for NJ’s youth, empowering young people to own their economic success. Envision sharing your education, career, and personal experience, inspiring and preparing 5th and 6th graders to be our future leaders. Picture 12 year olds as CEOs, CFOs, town mayor, Quest Diagnostics technicians, Walmart customer service reps, Horizon wellness managers, NJ Credit Union tellers, and more, learning valuable employability skills.
JA BizTown is an innovative, experiential learning program where students apply classroom lessons to a real life simulation experience. Here, volunteer role models guide students in managing businesses, making financial decisions, and completing jobs as they strive to create a successful economy.
Volunteering with JA BizTown is a turnkey one-day, high impact experience that includes training prior to the students’ arrival. Individuals and groups are welcome to spend a day with students at our JA BizTown site in the Raritan Center in Edison, NJ.
JA BizTown Staff is on site to ensure a successful Field Trip day, and all program materials are provided. Volunteer attire is business casual or company apparel.
