Career-Connected Learning
JANJ helps K-12 students prepare for the future and create economic opportunity by giving them exposure to diverse career pathways, real-world experiences, and the durable skills needed to succeed. Through our New Jersey Student Learning Standards-aligned programs focused on career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, JANJ supports school districts, educators, and youth-serving organizations. We help young people better understand how education connects to economic opportunity and prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow.
Education for What’s Next
Junior Achievement of New Jersey is dedicated to accelerating economic mobility through education. Our learning experiences align with state and national standards, including Common Core, and are adaptable and scalable across diverse settings. Whether in an elementary school classroom or a high school career exploration program, JA meets students where they are and prepares them for what comes next.
Partnering with School Districts
Our primary pathway for bringing JA programs to students is through partnerships with school districts. We would love to start a conversation about how we can work together to bring career-connected learning experiences to your students. Whether you are looking to enrich classroom instruction, embed JA programming into your curriculum, or explore a deeper district-wide partnership, our team is ready to collaborate.
Expertly Developed Curriculum
Our programs are developed by a team of education and business experts and undergo extensive testing to ensure high-quality, effective learning experiences for every student. We don’t just supplement education — we help make it more relevant, engaging, and connected to the real world.
Supporting Educators
To help educators get the most out of our programs, we offer professional development and training opportunities — both virtual and on-site — so that every teacher feels confident and equipped to deliver impactful learning experiences for their students.
COMMUNITY-BASED organizations welcome
JA also works with community-based organizations looking to bring career-connected learning to young people outside of the traditional school setting. On a request basis, we are happy to provide resources and programming to support after-school and out-of-school programs year-round.
